An explanation of the different powers of attorney and how they apply is provided. The role of the State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) for Guardianship and Administration Orders is discussed. Advance care planning and end of life decisions are explored.

Presenter: Dr Torna Pitman. Torna has a PhD in Coercive Control and is currently a practitioner for Engender Equality, a Tasmanian state-wide family violence service. Her specialty is teaching the links between inequality and conversational control, verbal, emotional and psychological abuse.

At this event Torna will provide a clear, conceptual framework, language and techniques to use with clients of all genders who may be perpetrating or affected by an unequal relationship.
