Capability Level: Emerging; Evolving
The global digital landscape is consistently evolving and challenging the ideas of how we should practice, where, why and to what end ethically and morally. This webinar will act as a guide for how social workers can thrive online, in practice and individually, because social workers still need to have lives that consider the systemic and holistic use of “self” beyond their professional title. If you’re already practicing, wanting to refine your practice, get ideas for where else you can work or publish your work in the evolving digital landscape, this webinar will be for you. With a nuanced view of how we can better exemplify the profession, our individualism within it and the importance of social pedagogy in an ideologically diverse climate.
This webinar will help you to refine, reflect and perhaps even reconsider what is best and defensible practice for you in your career, as well as giving practical, directional and “no gatekeeping here” advice for achieving those next steps. With road mapping being an essential tool for career trajectory, this will be provided as a discussion, and a free “Use of Self” Road Mapping will be available free to help you truly take something away that’s sustains your motivation to commit to your vision as a practitioner.
Who should register?
Practicing social workers seeking to refine their practice and thrive online. This includes Social workers interested in exploring new areas of work or publishing in the digital landscape.
