Capability Levels: Emerging, Evolving
In every organisation that works with children and young people, creating a safe and supportive environment is a shared responsibility. This 3-hour interactive webinar equips staff, managers, and volunteers with the knowledge and confidence to meet their obligations under the Child Safe Standards and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. Participants will explore the foundations of child safety, examine real-world case examples, and develop strategies to embed safety and wellbeing into everyday practice.
Through a combination of theory, reflection, and practical discussion, this training builds an understanding of the standards as more than a compliance requirement — they are a cultural framework for protecting and empowering children. Participants will leave with clear, actionable tools to strengthen organisational safety, policy, and practice.
