Schema Therapy is an evidenced based therapy with amazing results for patients of all walks of life who have experienced trauma and childhood issues. But behind the basics, what really is Schema therapy, and is it for you? Find out more with this presentation from accredited Schema therapy Dr Leisa Davina who will take us through an introduction to this modality and discuss how it can be used in practice.

About the presenter:
Dr Leisa Davina is a clinical psychologist, with accreditation in Schema Therapy with the International Society of Schema Therapists (ISST), and EMDR Therapy with the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA). She is also an accredited consultant and trainer in EMDR therapy. Leisa has a passion for treating trauma and associated conditions, using an integration of EMDR and Schema Therapy where indicated. She has experience working in Acute Mental Health Settings, private practice and in delivering training, consultation and therapy across modalities with people across the lifespan. Leisa takes pleasure in working with social workers, counsellors, psychologists and other health professionals who have specialised in mental health therapies, with the view to expanding the community of clinicians trained in EMDR therapy.
