Theory and Skill into Practice: 80 Social Work Skills for Practice – Translating 'knowing what' into 'knowing how', presented by Dr Pamela Trevithick, is designed to assist participants in translating theory into practice.
It is a very practical course that introduces a Practice Framework designed to integrate knowledge and skills and how we translate ‘knowing what’ into ‘knowing how’.
The course covers 80 key skills and interventions including communication, organisation and hands-on skills training.
