Social Workers who embody the professions values of social justice, respect for human rights and professional integrity are well placed to lead the way in working with Neurodivergent adults. Learn how to utilize your skills to create safe and therapeutic environments and adjustments for Neurodivergent adults.
This webinar will provide an overview of Neurodivergence, outline the importance of respecting individuals unique sensory and communication needs as well as processing styles. Through peer discussions it will enable you to identify your Social Work skills and strengths to be leveraged in neuro-affirming practice with Neurodivergent adults. You will be given the tools to channel an anti-oppressive and critical approaches towards a specialized and emerging field of practice.

This webinar is suitable for all levels of Social Workers who are interested in developing their own unique approach to neuro-affirming practice with Neurodivergent adults. From frontline workers starting in their early career to managers and supervisors wanting to support their Neurodivergent staff.
