The Victorian Branch invites members, social work students, and the wider social work community to join us for our annual participation in the 2019 Victorian NAIDOC March to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Meet us outside the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service at 186 Nicholson Street Fitzroy at 10.30am ready to march. Look for the AASW Banner!

A note from the organisers:

This event is hosted by Victorian Naidoc and Victorian Aboriginal Health Service -VAHS

This year we're starting with a pre-March festival!

Join us at VAHS from 09:00 am for snacks, coffee, banner making, face painting, entertainment & general frivolity! Merchandise will be available too.

The March leaves from Victorian Aboriginal Health Service (VAHS) on Nicholson Street Fitzroy at 11:30 am.

We welcome all people, councils, organisations, and businesses to come and march with us.

We will walk down Nicholson Street onto Spring Street, turn down Bourke Street and then onto Swanston Street, finishing up at Fed Square.

After the March we're headed to Federation Square Main Stage for free community concert.
