Please join the NSW Branch for our Annual Members' Meeting, with a presentation by our 2018 Social Justice Award recipient, Sue Foley, on Social justice: A unique dynamic for the social work profession.

Values, multilayered approach to our work, and a bigger picture lens are the basic ingredients for social justice in action. There is cost, opportunity and benefits to be considered in this ‘big picture’ approach to practice. Recognitions of power, disadvantage, function and status of individuals, families and communities must infiltrate our approaches and provide direction to our actions, in the interest of improving social justice locally, nationally and internationally.

Nominations will be called for from the floor for two vacancies on the Branch Management Committee.

We invite attendees to join us afterwards for drinks at The Royal Oak Hotel, 387 Church Street, corner of Ross Street.

Video/teleconference available.

Please ensure you log in before registering as this is a MEMBERS ONLY event.
