The Student Series: Social Workers in Practice provides opportunity for students to hear from professional social workers about their work and build connections within the profession. There are 8 events planned for 2019, between March and November.

We are repeating the popular session with Jenny Rose, as an online webinar. Jenny is a Senior Social Worker at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, where her clinical work is primarily in the Emergency Department.

Jenny will present on The role of social work in the Paediatric Emergency Department, and will provide you with an overview of the day-to-day work in this setting and theoretical perspectives she draws on.

Student membership is $51 per financial year ($25.50 if joining between Jan-June), and entitles you to Student Member rates for this and all other AASW events.
