Topic & Guest Speaker

Meredith Coote, General Manager at MABLE (formerly Better Caring) will explain their web based support worker recruitment service for the disability and aged fields. Some members are concerned about workers conditions in this web negotiated environment – this should make for some interesting questions.

General information

This meeting is proudly organised by the Individual Funding Social Work Practice Group (IFSWPG).

The IFSWPG offers peer support and information sharing to any social worker interested in individualised funding services. This includes individual practice, community development and service system design in the disability and aged care fields amongst others. Disability services are being transformed by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and aged care by consumer directed care (CDC) and new roles and opportunities are evolving that are available to social workers.
