Student and New Graduates
Students and New Social Work Graduates are important members of our AASW community, for it is you that will inherit the social work legacy and represent the profession in our community.
The AASW offers the following membership options for Student and New Graduates -
For students enrolled in an AASW accredited Bachelor of Social Work degree or Master of Social Work (qualifying).
The New Graduate fee is for members renewing or joining within 2 years of completion of their first qualifying Social Work degree. This recognises that new graduates have many expenses to recover in their first few years after graduation and we believe that your continued membership of AASW in these years is important.

A Practical Guide for Students and Graduating Practitioners
This Handbook is intended for Social Work students and new graduates of Australia.
