The Individual Funding Social Work Practice Group offers peer support and information sharing to any social worker interested in individualised funding services. This includes individual practice, community development and service system design in the disability and aged care fields amongst others. Disability services are being transformed by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and aged care by consumer directed care (CDC) and new roles and opportunities are evolving that are available to social workers.
The Practice Group meets every two months to share ideas, strategies and innovative approaches to working as a social worker in the individual funding environment.
Open to all social workers with an interest in this field of practice.
